Morning Basket Music helps homeschool parents teach music in a fun, easy, and interactive way — no musical experience required. Our unit study approach pairs an engaging picture book with themed musical lessons each week.
Includes 12 weekly units with 5 daily activities for each week.

- Reading rhythms (quarter notes, eighth notes, rests)
- Exploring high and low pitches with singing voices
- Playing percussion instruments — purchased or homemade
- Singing songs connected to the story theme
- Guided listening to classical recordings
- Creative movement and patterned dance

I’m Leann Mulligan — a homeschool mom with a background in music education. I received my bachelor’s degree from Samford University, taught music for eight years in public school, and have continued to teach elementary music in various co-op settings.
